Nitter Alternative: Follow X Accounts Without an Account

Short answer: most public Nitter instances stopped working after X shut off the guest access they relied on. If you used Nitter to keep up with accounts without an X login, an AyeWatch X profile monitor does that job: it reads the public profile and sends you each new post. You never log in to X.

Set it up

1. Open Create a monitor → X and choose Profile.
2. Paste the account link, like https://x.com/northwindlabs.
3. Pick how often to check and click Create monitor. Repeat for each account.

What you get

The first check saves the current posts as a starting point, so you are not flooded with old ones. After that, every check that finds something new sends one alert. The headline is the post itself, or "3 new from …" when several land at once, with a link to each post and its text.

Alerts land in your feed and as push in the AyeWatch iOS and Android app. On Pro and Pro+ you can also turn on email, Slack, or a webhook.
