Subreddit Keyword Alerts: Get New Posts That Use a Word
Monitor one subreddit for a keyword and get each new matching post by push, email or Slack. Reddit has no keyword alerts of its own.

Short answer: Reddit has no keyword alerts. Create an AyeWatch Reddit Search in subreddit monitor with the subreddit link and your word. Each check searches that subreddit's new posts, and each new match alerts you. It's 1 credit a check.
Set it up
- Open Create a monitor → Reddit and choose Search in subreddit.
- Paste the subreddit link, like
https://www.reddit.com/r/SaaS/. - Type the word or phrase, like
churn. Quotes and OR work, like"crm" OR "hubspot alternative". - Optional: add Only alert me about, like "people asking for a CRM recommendation". It adds 1 credit a check.
- Pick a schedule and click Create monitor.

What you get
The first check sends up to 5 of the latest posts, or only the ones that match your filter, so you can see what the monitor finds without a flood of old ones. After that, every check that finds something new sends one alert. The headline is the post itself, or "3 new from …" when several land at once, with a link to each post and its text.
Alerts land in your feed and as push in the AyeWatch iOS and Android app. On Pro and Pro+ you can also turn on email, Slack, or a webhook.

Yes. Put them in one search with OR, like churn OR retention, or describe what you want in Only alert me about.
Does it alert on comments that use my keyword?
No. It reads new posts, not comments.
