Reddit has no native keyword pager. Following a sub and sorting by new is a part-time job. F5Bot will email an exact word. If the room is small, name it. r/selfhosted, r/sysadmin, r/LocalLLaMA, a vendor's unofficial sub. If the complaint can land anywhere, watch Reddit as a source in a topic, not one sub. If you alert on a company name that is also a common noun, you asked for pain. Add the product category in the sentence. Add "customer complaint" or "outage" if that is the only mail you will act on. Mute is not a strategy. Rewrite the topic.
Prove it on one sub you already lurk
Pick the sub you already check at lunch. Run AyeWatch against it for a few days. The test is simple. Did you get the post you would have upvoted, without the rest of the feed? If yes, add the second sub. If no, the sentence is wrong, not the idea.
