Greenhouse Job Alerts

Paste a public Greenhouse board URL. Name the role. Skip the mail that fires on every intern listing.

A simple job-board window with one new listing highlighted

Greenhouse job alerts watch a Greenhouse board for the role you named, not every posting on Earth. Most of those boards live at a public URL under boards.greenhouse.io or job-boards.greenhouse.io. That page is what candidates actually open. LinkedIn may get the listing hours later, or never, if nobody paid to boost it.

Greenhouse itself sometimes offers a notify-me box. That box is usually a daily dump of the whole board. Barista, intern, staff engineer, and a rec copy tweak all land in the same mail. You mute it. Then you miss the one title you wanted.

What a Greenhouse board actually is

A Greenhouse careers page is a list of jobs for one company token. Departments and offices are filters on that list. The source of truth is the board URL, not a scraped card on Indeed. If you want that company's role, watch that board.

AyeWatch has no Greenhouse API partnership. There is no special Greenhouse login, no webhook from their ATS, and no Easy Apply button. You paste the public board URL the same way you paste any other careers page. If the board is behind a login wall, we cannot see it.

How to watch one without an API

Copy the jobs index, not a single expired posting. Write the rule the way you would tell a friend. Staff backend in SF or remote. Ignore intern unless I said intern. Location strings on Greenhouse bounce between Remote, United States, and a city name, so say which ones count.

The job openings template is built for this. One board per topic keeps a ten-company search from turning into one noisy pile. Recruiters and founders use the same URL as a hiring-signal feed when a rival suddenly posts a block of enterprise AE roles.

Limits worth knowing

Free Preview is six lifetime runs across three topics, Daily or slower, with push and the in-app feed. Use it to prove one board. Pro is $9 a month, 50 topics, and a six-hour check. Paid plans add email, Slack, Discord, and webhooks. Six hours will not beat a candidate who refreshed the board at lunch. It will beat yesterday's digest.

A restyle of the Greenhouse chrome should not page you. A new listing that matches the role should. If the company moved off Greenhouse to Ashby or Lever, the old board goes stale. Point the watch at the new public URL.

Start with one board

Pick the company you would actually apply to this month. Paste that Greenhouse URL. Send one test run. If the summary names a real job, add the next board. Keep a resume PDF ready. The alert only buys you the hours before the aggregator notices.
