Why this template
What it is for.
A “downgraded” headline often restates last week’s note. You needed the firm, the action, and the new target, checked against the original note or a reputable source.
Verified actions
The template wants the firm, the new action, and old versus new rating or target. Repeated coverage of an older note is ignored.
Filter the kind of change
All rating and target changes, or only upgrades, downgrades, initiations, or price-target moves.
Optional firm list
Limit to shops you trust, or leave blank for established firms.
A minimum target move
Ignore a 1% tweak if you only care about a real revision.
