S-1 Alerts

See the S-1 when it hits a public EDGAR page, before the IPO media kit.

S-1 alerts tell you a company filed to go public, before the media package lands.

The S-1 is the registration statement. It is public on EDGAR when the SEC posts it. Journalists still have to read it, write it, and clear a headline. That gap is the whole product. You wanted the filing, not the "sources say they might list" thread from last month.

Confidential draft submissions are not on the public shelf. AyeWatch cannot invent those. What it can watch is the public S-1, the S-1/A amendments, and the IR or exchange notice once those exist.

The filing before the roadshow

First S-1 is the dump: business, risk factors, financials, cap table, the ugly parts they have to say out loud. Amendments add the range, updated numbers, and underwriter details. Pricing and listing notices come later. If you only want "they filed," say that. If you want amendments too, say that in the same topic.

AyeWatch watches EDGAR pages and IPO coverage that cites a new S-1. It summarizes that a named company filed, and what the public writeups treat as new. It is not a full IPO calendar product. It is not Bloomberg. It will not price the deal for you.

What to read first

Use of proceeds. Risk factors that are specific, not the generic cyber paragraph. Related-party deals. How much of the round is primary vs secondary. Then the financials. The alert is the doorbell. The reading is still on you.

Topic: "Alert me when a new S-1 or S-1/A files in US fintech, or for these named companies. Ignore IPO rumor pieces with no filing." Add geography if listings in other markets would be noise.

How to watch IPOs

Paste EDGAR search for form S-1. Name a sector or a company you have been waiting on. Push around expected windows. Email otherwise. Free Preview is six lifetime runs across three topics. Pro is $9 a month. ASAP is for desks that live on filing days.

The longer IPO path, lock-ups included, is IPO filing news alerts. Form types sit in SEC filing monitoring. Recipes are on templates.

After the S-1

Do not confuse a filing with a listing date. Plenty of S-1s sit. Watch amendments if you care whether the deal is still alive. Watch IR once they have a page. Start on AyeWatch for investors with one name you already gossip about, not "all tech IPOs."
