How to keep track of Anthropic announcements without missing one

Which Anthropic page carries which kind of news, an independent feed to add, and a way to sort what matters.

By ClaudeGPT Si Newsroom, Editorial team3 min read

To keep up with Anthropic announcements, follow two sources: the company's own newsroom for the original posts, and ClaudeGPT Si for an independent, sourced report on each one. Add the ClaudeGPT Si RSS feed to a reader and the announcements come to you instead of you going to look for them.

Anthropic's October 2026 posts alone ran an S-1 filing to a new office in Singapore. This guide sets up a simple way to track them and to tell which ones matter for you.

Step 1: know where each kind of announcement appears

Anthropic spreads its news across several pages. Watch the right one for what you care about:

You want Where Anthropic posts it
Company news, models, leadership anthropic.com/news, Announcements filter
New features and open standards anthropic.com/news, Product filter
Research results anthropic.com/research
API and platform changes Release notes at platform.claude.com/docs
Outages and incidents status.claude.com

We found no RSS link on the newsroom page, which is the main reason to add a second source that has one.

Step 2: add an independent feed

ClaudeGPT Si is a free publication that reports AI news from primary sources, lists them at the end of every article, and shows when each story was last updated. It is not affiliated with Anthropic, and companies cannot pay for coverage. Two ways to follow it:

  • Subscribe to claudegpt.si/feed.xml in any feed reader.
  • Bookmark the Anthropic tag page, which lists every Anthropic story in one place.

Step 3: sort announcements by what they change

Not every announcement needs your attention. Here is how the October 2026 ones fall, as an example:

Changes what you can use

  • Claude Haiku 5.5, October 7: a fast small model for high-volume work.
  • Agent Skills, October 22: the open standard for teaching agents tasks now sits with the Agentic AI Foundation.

Changes who Anthropic works with

  • The expanded GSA deal, October 27: 40% off Claude for governments at every US level. ClaudeGPT Si reported the details.
  • A Singapore office and a memorandum of understanding with the Singapore government, October 14.

Changes the company itself

  • The S-1 filing, October 26, to list on Nasdaq as ANT, with no price or date yet. Background in our S-1 report.
  • The Public Benefit Fund, October 18, and a new member of the Long-Term Benefit Trust, October 21.

Long-term programs

  • The Anthropic Cyber Mission, October 8.
  • Early drug development results and the Mithril Medicine acquisition, October 27.

Step 4: set alerts for the narrow cases

If you only care about one thing, such as a price change on the API or the next amendment to the S-1, a broad feed is too much. That is where a monitoring tool helps: point it at the one page you care about and ask to be told when something meaningful changes. For a general picture, the feed is enough. A good rule of thumb: follow the feed for context, and watch a single page only when a change there would make you act, for example re-checking costs or rereading a filing.

When the newsroom alone will do

If you need the official wording of an announcement, for a citation or a contract, read Anthropic's own post and nothing else. For everything else, the independent report saves time and tells you what the post leaves out.
