Indeed Alerts Alternative
Indeed copies the careers page later. Watch the source URL and skip the aggregator lag.

An Indeed alerts alternative watches the source careers page instead of waiting on the aggregator. Indeed is a copy of the market. It is a good search box. It is a slow pager. Sponsored cards, duplicate listings, and a daily email sit on top of a page the company already published.
Many employers post on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, or a homemade /jobs index first. Indeed notices later, sometimes the next day, sometimes never if the company did not pay to syndicate. If you already know the company, the source URL is the watch you want.
How Indeed gets the listing
Aggregators crawl, ingest, and normalize titles. That pipeline is why you see the same job three times with three locations. It is also why your Indeed alert can fire after the first interview slots are already booked. Keyword mail then adds intern noise on top of the lag.
AyeWatch is not an Indeed scraper you log into. We do not click Apply on Indeed. We do not store your Indeed password. You paste a public careers URL. If the only copy of the job lives behind Indeed's login, we cannot see it.
Watch the source page
Find the company's jobs index. Paste it. Name the role, and the city or remote rule if it matters. AyeWatch watches public careers pages and topics. The next check reports a new matching listing in plain words. Layout chrome and cookie banners should stay out of the ping.
The job openings template keeps one URL per company so Stripe and a 40-person startup do not share a noisy topic. Recruiters use the same pattern on a competitor's board when they want the hiring signal, not another Indeed saved search.
What this will not do
It will not rank every job on Earth. It will not replace Indeed for a wide, messy search across thousands of employers you have never heard of. It will watch the twenty pages you already care about. Free Preview is six lifetime runs across three topics, Daily or slower, with push and the in-app feed. Pro is $9 a month, 50 topics, and a six-hour check. Paid plans add email, Slack, Discord, and webhooks.

Keep Indeed for discovery if you still want a firehose. Add AyeWatch on the companies you would actually join. When the source page changes, you hear about it on the next check, not when Indeed's email catches up. Keep a resume PDF ready. The aggregator lag is only useful if you spend it applying, not refreshing.
