Hugging Face Model Alerts

Watch Hugging Face for new weights and papers in the model families you named.

Geometric editorial still life of a model card on warm paper

Hugging Face model alerts watch new weights and papers in the families you named.

Weights drop at odd hours. A model card appears. A README grows a license paragraph. Twitter finds it later, then the roundup blogs. If you eval local models or you ship an inference stack, the card is the event. Following the entire Hugging Face feed is how you learn about every LoRA on earth. That is not a workflow.

Name the family, not the website

Watch a model or org URL if you already know the repo. Watch a topic if you care about a class. "New base models or weight drops in Qwen, Llama, Mistral, or Gemma on Hugging Face. Ignore toy finetunes and UI clones." Pair official org pages with GitHub release alerts when they also tag. Pair lab blogs with LLM alerts. The wide map is how to track every new AI model.

AyeWatch watches public cards, papers, and pages. It does not download weights. It does not run your evals. It does not replace Hugging Face notifications if you already follow one repo and like their email. It replaces the tab you keep opening "just in case."

License and paper, same desk

A weight drop with a surprise license is a legal event. Add a sentence about license changes on those orgs, or run a LICENSE file watch as in open-source license monitoring. Papers on HF sometimes lead the card. Include "model card, weight release, or companion paper" in the rule if that is how your lab operates.

The AI model releases template is the faster start. Free Preview is six lifetime runs across three topics. Pro is $9 a month. Push if you will bench the model the same night. Email if you batch evals on Fridays. Paid webhooks can kick a job. Developer notes sit on /developers.

Cut the LoRA firehose

If you do not say "base models" or "orgs I named," you will get every 7B remix. That is how people quit. List orgs. List families. Say "skip finetunes under N downloads" only if you are willing to miss a quiet official drop. Official orgs first. Remixes never, unless that is the product.

One family is enough to start

Pick the family you already swap into production. Watch it for a week. The useful alert names the card, the license if it moved, and whether it is weights or a paper. After that, add the second family. Leave the rest of Hugging Face to people with more time than you.
