Form 4 Alerts

Open-market insider buys on the names you watch. Skip grants and 10b5-1 chatter.

Geometric ledger with one terracotta underline on warm paper

Form 4 alerts track open-market insider buys, not option grants and 10b5-1 noise.

A Form 4 is the public report when an officer, director, or 10% holder trades the stock. Most of those filings are paperwork. Vesting. Option exercises. Tax withholding. Planned sales under a 10b5-1. The line that is worth interrupting dinner is an open-market purchase, in size, with cash.

If your "insider" email fires on every code P, S, A, and M, you will mute it by Friday. Then you will miss the CEO check that actually said something.

Buys that matter

Open-market purchases by the CEO or CFO are the cleanest signal in the form. Cluster buying, two or more insiders buying in the same stretch, is louder than one symbolic lot. Size relative to pay matters. A tiny buy after a keynote is theater. A large buy after a ugly print is a statement.

AyeWatch watches public Form 4 pages and the coverage that reprints them. It summarizes who bought, the role when it is stated, and whether it reads as a purchase rather than a grant. It is not a full insider screener with every code and derivative table. Point it at tickers or a sector and say the dollar floor.

Noise to skip

Say it in the topic. "Alert me on open-market buys by senior officers in these names. Ignore option grants, gifts, and 10b5-1 sales." If you want cluster-only, say that too. The insider buying template is built around that filter.

Free Preview is six lifetime runs across three topics. Pro is $9 a month. Use ASAP on Max or Ultra if you trade the filing window. Most research desks can live on a slower cadence and still beat a weekly roundup.

How to watch

Name the book. A concentrated list beats "all small caps." Add the company EDGAR index URL if you want the filing page itself watched, not only the news rewrite. Push to your phone. Open the Form 4 before you copy the trade.

This is public. It is not MNPI. Academic papers like insider buys on average. Your next trade is still your problem. AyeWatch will not tell you to buy.

Honest scope

The longer guide is insider buying Form 4 alerts. Filing types around it sit in SEC filing monitoring. If you want a whole news desk, not only Form 4s, see stock news desk AI.

Start on AyeWatch for investors. One ticker you already stalk is enough to learn whether the filter is tight.
