Competitor Website Tracker
Four URLs. Homepage, pricing, changelog, careers. A summary when any of them actually change.
A competitor website tracker is a URL watch on homepage, pricing, changelog, and careers.
Four pages beat a 40-page CI report you will not reread. The homepage is positioning. Pricing is the offer. Changelog is what shipped. Careers is what they decided to build next. You already know that. You still refresh them by hand because nothing else watches those four URLs as one job.
AyeWatch is that job. Paste the HTTPS links. Add a topic if you also want press and reviews. It is not a full-site crawler. It is not a heat map of every pixel. Name the pages that matter.
The four pages
Homepage copy tells you who they think they sell to. Pricing tells you what they will take. Changelog tells you the product moved. Careers tell you the bet, a flood of enterprise AEs, a first FedRAMP hire, a sudden mobile team. Write one rule that covers substance on all four. "Alert on positioning, price, shipped features, and new roles. Skip cookie banners and blog sidebars."
Competitor monitoring 101 is the map. Pricing page monitoring and hiring monitoring are the two URLs teams usually under-watch. If they ship on GitHub, add GitHub release alerts instead of hoping the marketing changelog is honest.
Homepages lie a little
Marketing will A/B the hero. That is not a strategy shift. A new product name in the nav is. A docs subdomain that did not exist last month is. Put that in the rule so you are not paged for a button color. The tracker should read the page, not screenshot it into a folder you mute.
Use the competitor monitoring template if you want a starter. Founders usually start with one domain. SaaS desks add a second rival once the first feed is quiet enough to trust.

Free Preview is six lifetime runs across three topics. No card.
Try AyeWatch freeStart with one domain
Free Preview is six lifetime runs across three topics. No card. One competitor, two or three URLs, is a fair first test. Pro is $9/month. Do not paste the whole sitemap. Paste the four pages you already keep in a bookmarks folder named "watch."
If the first summary is a restyle, tighten the rule. If it names a price, a ship, or a role, add the next domain.
